When we say “Black Lives Matter,” we’re not saying only their life matters and no one else. We’re saying that this community is being attacked far more frequently than their white counterparts, and that is an issue that needs attention.

it takes at least 80 years for my bones to crack and become brittle, in 50 years they can be made into a home for native flowers.

Overall, I did enjoy this book. It didn’t leave me with a “wow” feeling, but it was good.

the witch doesn’t burn in this one – book review
Out of all of the pieces in this book, my favorites are her more personal ones. I feel they hold more emotion than her generalized ones, and are done very well.
